So as part of my business studies, thought it would be a good idea to have a look at some animation companies. All the links for the companies are on the right hand side :)
The first company that I had a little look at was Moonbot studios, where they create entertainment to an array of media platforms. They make books, films, apps and games. What I really love about this company is how diverse they are and how they make books, books I love books! One of their Short films that I think is just beautiful was The Fantastic Flying Books of Mr. Morris Lessmore which was inspired in equal measures, by Hurricane Katrina, Buster Keaton, The
Wizard of Oz, and a love for books, “Morris Lessmore” is a story of
people who devote their lives to books and books who return the favor, it's about the curative powers of story.
Using a variety of techniques such as miniatures, computer animation, 2D
animation, award-winning author/illustrator William Joyce and
co-director Brandon Oldenburg present a hybrid style of animation.It was also made into a book that you can easily buy on their website.
